Fran Sherman is a licensed psychotherapist who has been helping people deal with life’s misadventures over a career of more than two decades in New York and Florida.

Fran is a television personality who appears on the Today Show, HLN, truTV, Fox News, Fox Live, The Daily Buzz, The Morning Show, Daytime and the local NBC, ABC and Fox news affiliates in the West Palm Beach market. She provides expert commentary on news of the day, and has done segments involving love, relationships, parenting, bullying, anxiety, stress, the economy and issues related to educating our children.

Fran frequently was on national and local TV during the Casey Anthony murder trial, providing her unique style of expert commentary.

Fran also has appeared throughout the country at small seminars and before larger groups, speaking on a myriad of issues, and has made numerous radio appearances, primarily discussing child abuse, sexual abuse and rape.

In print, Fran is a regular columnist on The Daily Buzz website, featured in “Headdrama”. She is quoted regularly in the South Florida Sun Sentinel, and has been featured in a national web chat for Tribune company, which includes TV stations across the country and newspapers such as the Los Angeles Times and Chicago Tribune. In addition, Fran has been featured in live, online "Ask Therapist Fran" web chats for the Courier & Press in Evansville, Ind., part of the Scripps newspaper chain.

At the same time, Fran continues to work in private practice, and also will see clients via Skype or in  telephone sessions.

Fran is a parent of adolescents, and knows how it feels not only to be a parent, but also how to empathize with parents struggling with issues regarding their children. She has spent the past two decades specializing in work with adolescents, families, couples, women’s and men’s issues, sexuality, communication and other areas that affect our ability to lead the most productive lives that we can.
